Neil Patel is an award winning production designer and set designer. Recent Film and Television work includes Little Boxes (Netflix), Dil Dhadakne Do (Excel Entertaniment), Some Velvet Morning (Tribeca Films), Loitering with Intent (Parts and Labor), Billy and Billie (DirecTV) and The Path (HULU).  Recent Theater and Opera includes Father Comes Home from the Wars (Parts 1,2 & 3) (Royal Court London), Mughal E Azam (NCPA Mumbai), Indian Ink (Roundabout Theater New York), The Lion (US National Tour), The Crucible (Glimmerglass Festival) and  Born For This (Alliance Theater Atlanta). Past credits include Side Man on Broadway, the West End and the Kennedy Center, the original musical [title of show] on Broadway, Dinner with Friends in New York and on national tour, the world premiere of Bright Sheng's Madame Mao at the Santa Fe Opera, Amon Miyamoto's production of Cosi Fan Tutte at the Nissay Theater Tokyo, the production design for HBO's Peabody Award winning In Treatment (HBO) and Shadowland for Pilobolus throughout Europe, Asia and the Middle East. He has twice been recognized with an Obie Award for sustained excellence and has been the recipient of the Helen Hayes Award and numerous Henry Hewes and Drama Desk nominations. His design for This Beautiful City was chosen for the 2011 American Exhibit at the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space. He is a graduate of Yale College and the University of California at San Diego.
